AWP LED Lighting Upgrade Works

Oldland M&E Services were engaged by AWP & IPSL to undertake major LED lighting upgrade works across multiple NHS sites. Including Long Fox, Whittucks Road, Coast RC, Elmham Way, and multiple buildings within the major Fromeside and Callington Road Sites.

The LED Lighting replacement works were part funded by the government backed Salix finance scheme, to enable the NHS Trust to work towards their de-carbonisation and cleaner energy targets.

Acting as Principle Contractor on this project we were required to work diligently within multiple occupied mental health sites ensuring minimal disruption to staff and service users.

Existing lighting equipment was carefully removed and disposed of in line with WEEE directives, with the installation and re-wiring of new lighting and minor redecoration works.

Working to strict NHS programmes and health and safety requirements, together with managing COVID restrictions which prevailed at the time of installation.

Alongside our key suppliers Dextra Lighting all LED replacement works were completed on budget and to agreed programme. Project Value £1.4m
